Joana S. Gomez
Joana Gomez grew up in Denver, Colorado, where she currently attends the University of Colorado at Denver for a bachelor's in Film and Television. Working on numerous projects as a crew member, produced various shorts and a web series with a crew of thirty people or more, and is currently directing her first short documentary about the reintroduction of wolves called "Sacred Wolves." Her main goal is to produce feature films for a major production company
Keric Warton
Keric is an award-winning film student from UC Denver who’s passionate about editing. Born and raised in Colorado, he became fascinated with video production and internet content creation by publishing his first YouTube video at the age of 9. His other creative hobbies include partaking in video game development, creating trailers for games, graphic design, and voice acting.
Thomas Kolicko
Thomas Kolicko is a Documentary Filmmaker, Photographer, College Professor, and Founder of Traverse image-based out of Denver, Colorado. With a professional career spanning more than 16 years, Kolicko has directed and produced film titles that have been shown around the world on National Geographic, Amazon, Alamo Drafthouse, Outdoor Channel and Netflix. Kolicko is also a dedicated mountain biker, Documentary Film Instructor at the University of Colorado - Denver, public speaker, and lover of the outdoor adventure.
Roman Banks
Roman has spent the last few years building his reputation as a Producer and has collaborated on numerous films. His fascination in movie-making and TV production lead him to a four-year journey at University of Colorado Denver. In 2018 he was awarded the CAM diversity grant allowing him to Produce and Direct a Dragcumentary and was the first student to host CU Denver’s Cinefest. He spent 8 months working at NBC where he gained the knowledge and experience of how to run a live show. He aspires to INSPIRE. He’s the Latino Oprah in the making.
Stella Yrigoyen
Stella has four years of filmmaking experience, from editing videos professionally with Luminary Productions in Houston, TX to directing and editing student films. Stella has always been passionate about nature, and has recently moved to Colorado where she is currently studying to get her Bachelor’s Degree in Film & Television at the University of Colorado Denver.
Hali Webb-Shafer
Hali is an artist and documentary filmmaker, who has already released a feature-length documentary about the local Denver band Lost Walks. She is passionate about the subject of wolves, and has been involved in the reintroduction of wolves in Colorado for the last two years, working closely with organizations like Rocky Mountain Wolf Project and The Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center. She also works with local Denver bands, doing both video and photography work for various shows and projects. Hali is also an illustrator, participating in freelance work and designing the poster and artwork for this film. She is a lover of the outdoors, and a big fan of the desert!
Christopher Riggs
Christopher is an award-winning filmmaker currently finishing his Bachelor's Degree in Film and Television at the University of Colorado Denver with an Associate of Applied Science in Video Production under his belt. He has been in the industry for four years now, working with multiple commercial based projects, short films, and documentaries. Chris has always been drawn to film, but the thing that attracts him most is the medium's ability to reach and affect people's lives in a profound way. It allows for the opportunity to think more deeply about the impacts we have and inspire the world to be better.
Taylor Neumann
Taylor Neumann is an award-winning filmmaker currently studying Film and Television at the University of Colorado Denver. She’s new to the industry but her portfolio is rapidly expanding with directing, producing and sound credits on various short films. She is a world traveler who hopes to be able to continue to explore the world through her work as a filmmaker. She wants to dive into more cultures and help tell their stories to others all over the world.
Nicky Wolff
Nicky is a biologist, filmmaker and outdoor enthusiast living in Denver, CO. He started his career studying the evolution of spider venom but transitioned his biochemistry skills to brewing after graduating from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, OR. Moving to Colorado in 2018, he felt a draw to storytelling and started attending the Film and Television program at UC Denver. Wolff seeks to combine his love of wild places with a fundamental understanding of science to create new narratives of how we as humans interact with nature.
Hunter Neiblum
Hunter is a full time editor at Traverse Image where he splits his time between telling original client branded stories and collaborating on our slate of films. Hunter’s passion for the outdoors, filmmaking and storytelling stems from being a lifetime resident of Colorado. A love for the mountains and scenic landscapes fuels Hunter’s inspiration to achieve a unique and informed composition from the camera to the edit bay.
